Research Areas:

We've established the first applicable system for long-term two-photon imaging in awake monkey, which has been successfully applied in both primary/advanced visual cortex and prefrontal cortex, and enabled neuronal population imaging at single-cell resolution and dendritic imaging at single-spine resolution. Combining with electrophysiology and optogenetics manipulation, we investigate the neural mechanism of visual cognition, including object and face recognition, selective attention, working memory, etc.
